Melody of Dream

Image
Richard Feynman, the renowned theoretical physicist, talked about the energy from the sunlight infuses into plants, trees, and then released from the fireplace burning of the wood - how wondrous! All forms change into other forms in time, all matters have their energies interact with each other. In the midst of the seemingly chaotic universe there are some very basic, fundamental principles operate eternally. That is the universal law. That is truly fascinating!   As Zen master Shunryu Suzuki said when a student once asked him to sum up Buddhism: "Everything changes." Acrylic on canvas. 32 x 34 in. Melody of Dream

The Milky Way

Image
"Look at the sun. The sun is shining. Nobody polishes the sun. The sun just shines. Look at the moon, the sky, the world at its best. Unfortunately, we human beings try to fit everything into conditionality. We try to make something out of nothing. We have messed everything up. That’s our problem. We have to go back to the sun and the moon, to dragons, tigers, lions, garudas. We can be like the blue sky, sweethearts, and the clouds so clean, so beautiful. We don’t have to try too hard to find ourselves. We haven’t really lost anything; we just have to tune in. The majesty of the world is always there." By Chögyam Trungpa, Rinpoche “Helping Others” from Great Eastern Sun: The Wisdom of Shambhala Acrylic  on canvas. 26 x 44 in. See SaatchiArt.com for detail

Pluto's Dream

Image
Pluto's dream is infinite loneliness. It is far, and it is cold. In the cold space and time there's this stubborn existence: I am here to be, as  the god of the underworld. Maybe, deep in the deepest heart, there's still some golden goodness remains?... Acrylic on rice paper mounted on paper. 16 x 15 in. Purchase this piece on Saatchi
