A direct guide and a welcome source to read about such extraordinarily talented artisans and creators from New York and abroad.” This month’s issue highlights  four women artists —myself,  Ann Womack ,  Laura Von Rosk , and  Leslie Parke —each sharing our creative journeys and unique perspectives. I’m truly delighted to be included in this issue’s feature and grateful for the opportunity to connect with a wider community through the arts. “Yeachin is an international abstract artist, her medium is non-representational, focusing on the basic elements of art: color, shape, and line. A Society of Peace, Joy, and Harmony

Melody of Dream

Image
Richard Feynman, the renowned theoretical physicist, talked about the energy from the sunlight infuses into plants, trees, and then released from the fireplace burning of the wood - how wondrous! All forms change into other forms in time, all matters have their energies interact with each other. In the midst of the seemingly chaotic universe there are some very basic, fundamental principles operate eternally. That is the universal law. That is truly fascinating!   As Zen master Shunryu Suzuki said when a student once asked him to sum up Buddhism: "Everything changes." Acrylic on canvas. 32 x 34 in. Melody of Dream

Auspicious River

Image
Live long, live short, It doesn't matter. The mind continues. "The time is an illusion," wise people said that. I look into my life, life before, life ahead, The rich, dreamy experiences of coming and going. All is in flux. All is transitory. The profound consciousness remains. Tell me how to cut the water of river in half, Show me the way to divide time. The continuum of time is endless. Not here, not there. The energy manifests and changes; I can feel it. I am not too bright, I cannot see far, I don't know what is supposed to be. What's coming. The memory of time is deep in the forest, The green moss and stone walls scattered, In there I left my flute, But the melody still echoing. "Time River" - A poem written in 2018 re-write in 2022 Acrylic on canvas. 26 x 54 in. Auspicious River

The Big Wave

Image
If you are big, Nothing can stop you. The difficulty of life, the pain and tears, everything would enrich you. If you are big, the sky above, the earth you stand on, the water below - they will support you. You will open your senses: The vast mind, the big heart, Will hear the cries and laughters, Will see all the colors and forms, Will feel hot and cold, sad and joy, The spectrum of all emotions. You will fly over the world and beyond, if You are truly big. Not fake. Following the wave, Riding on the wind. Seeing the light, and so be it. If you are big, you are not afraid. Not afraid of being human. We could big and humble, at the same time... Painting: The Wave 01, acrylic on wood panel. 18 x 18 inches, 2019 new series. (Inspired by Hokusai's Wave and Lina Wertmüller's movie Swept Away.) Yeachin Tsai Fine Art
