The K'un is so huge I don't know how many thousand li he measures. He changes and becomes a bird whose name is P'eng. The back of the P'eng measures I don't know how many thousand li across and, when he rises up and flies off, his wings are like clouds all over the sky. “Dancing with Brush Marks” A lecture and demonstration – I will be giving a presentation on ink painting and calligraphy at Bennington College, East Academic Center 1, Vermont, 10/9 at 7 pm, open to public. Feel free to join me! ——————————- Dancing with Brush Marks with Yeachin Tsai An   evening   of  Sumi ink and brush strokes –  an  introduction to Traditional Chinese Calligraphy and Brush Painting by Yeachin Tsai. Mrs. Tsai will demonstrate the principles  of  these ancient disciplines and discuss how the practice can bring us vividly into the present moment. The  evening  will include a demonstration and contemporary artwork presentation. Yeachin was born in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to New York City in 1993. She received MFA degree at CUNY,  Brooklyn College. Yeachin has practiced calligraphy and brush painting for over 40 years, having learned from traditional Chinese Masters.
